One man is dead following an early morning shooting in the Danforth.
According to Toronto police, at 3:01 am on Wednesday, February 5, they received multiple calls for a shooting in the Danforth Avenue and Greenwood Avenue area.
At the scene, police located a man who was unconscious and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
He was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Police believe that multiple suspects fled the scene.
Investigators are urging anyone with any information about the shooting to contact police.
