Man arrested after allegedly injuring cat, broadcasting it to social media

A 23-year-old Hamilton man has been arrested for allegedly injuring a cat and broadcasting it on social media.

Police say they received information on Saturday, April 11, that a male had hurt a cat and posted himself doing so.

Officers reportedly attended the residence, located in Dundas, and conducted an investigation.

The man has been arrested and charged with Injuring or killing an animal and Breach of recognizance.
