The Mac and Cheese Festival is back and it's screening the Raptors game

Jun 7 2019, 9:49 pm

Praise pasta.

North America’s largest Mac and Cheese-focused food festival is back in Toronto this weekend.

And, so nobody has to decide between indulging in cheesy goodness and cheering on the home team, the event will be screening the Raptors NBA Finals Game 4.

Those who attend the festival on Friday, June 7, will be able to tuck into concoctions created by celebrity chefs, talented cooks, and innovative entrepreneurs, all while watching the game on the big screen.

The festival will carry on through to June 9, celebrating its five-year anniversary at Roundhouse Park.

Some of last year’s most memorable bites included lobster tail mac and cheese, mac and cheese raclette, cheesed out tacos (consisting of a cheese shell, stuffed with mac and cheese, topped with more cheese), and mac and cheese filled bao.

So you know this weekend is going to be delicious.

And, a portion of proceeds from the 2019 Toronto Mac and Cheese Festival will go to Epilepsy Toronto to help support services for Torontonians living with epilepsy.
