lululemon launches membership program in select Canadian cities

lululemon has launched a membership program.

The fitness company’s new program is currently available in Toronto and Edmonton, as well as Chicago and Denver/Boulder south of the border.

According to lululemon, the membership, launching September 9, “celebrates community connection and provides insider admittance to a full expression of the lululemon ‘sweatlife’ experience through members-only events.”

Besides events, members will also receive early notification of product releases, a choice of exclusive gear valued at over $100, and a 20% discount off gear on the members’ birthdays.

The cost of the membership is $168 CAD, and lululemon says that spots are limited.

In terms of upcoming events, October will see author and speaker Gabrielle Bernstein offering a virtual coaching session on her six transformational methods from her upcoming Audible, “You are the Guru.”

November and December will be all about digital, local ambassador-led workouts and meditations that are universally accessible.
