Someone is selling Louis CK tickets for more than $1,000 over original cost

Louis CK is in Toronto for seven sold-out shows.

The American comedian returns to the city for five nights, for a show called “XXX. Adults only” at Yuk Yuk’s downtown.

His shows began on October 2 and will run until October 6.

When his shows were first announced last week, tickets were on sale for $35 plus tax and about $7 for service charges.

The shows sold-out in minutes, and for those looking, it is tough to find resale for these rare shows.

Currently, there is a pair of tickets available on Kijiji. The price? $1,200.

Another post for last minute Thursday tickets has also popped up, and they’re selling for $90 each… a little more reasonable.

This is the first time the comedian returns to Toronto following several sexual misconduct allegations in 2017, to which Louis CK said “were all true” in a statement as a response.

In its show description, Yuk Yuk’s states that the event will be a phone-free experience.

“Use of cellphones, smartwatches, smart accessories, cameras, or recording devices will not be permitted in the performance space,” it states.
