You can get free gourmet tacos this Tuesday — here's how
Hands up if Taco Tuesday is your favourite day of the week.
Okay, now put your hands down because we can’t actually see you, but we’ll just assume that you did. Pro tip: As a rule of thumb, don’t trust anyone who doesn’t like tacos. Sorry, not sorry.
In celebration of the new LOTTO MAX Tuesday draw starting Tuesday, May 14 in addition to the regular Friday draw, and with the jackpot growing as high as $70 million (the highest single jackpot amount in Canadian history), LOTTO MAX has partnered with celebrated chef, Matt “Fidel Gastro” Basile, to transform Taco Tuesday and take it to a whole new level!
Let’s taco-bout it.

On the first Tuesday draw on May 14, the LOTTO MAX “Let’s Taco-bout Tuesdays” taco truck will be serving FREE tacos, to encourage you to #DreamToTheMax!
“I am a big dreamer, so when LOTTO MAX approached me, I thought what an amazing way to combine my love and passion for making food for others and using it as a way to get other people excited about dreaming about turning their life passions into a reality,” says Chef Basile.
He has created two tacos you could have only dreamed about, the Ribeye Grill-ionaire, featuring grilled dry-aged, grass-fed, Canadian prime ribeye steak with compound garlic, melted gruyère, tomato onion chutney, topped with chives, purple potato kettle crisps and edible flowers, and the ToMAXtillo Cauliflower, a delectable roasted tomatillo cauliflower taco with smoked refried beans, garnished with pico de gallo, and finished with edible flowers.

On May 14, look for the 26′ long LOTTO MAX “Let’s Taco-bout Tuesdays” taco truck at RBC Plaza (corner of Bay & Wellington) between 11 am and 2:30 pm, for your FREE out-of-this-world taco, as well as a $5 OLG gift card that can be redeemed for a LOTTO MAX ticket.
Tacos and gift cards will be available while quantities last, with one free taco and one OLG gift card available per person.
On the day, Daily Hive Toronto will be hosting a giveaway where you will get the chance to win an OLG gift card worth $100 (available for those over the age of 18 and Ontario residents). Follow Daily Hive Toronto for updates!
