It's going to feel close to 40°C over the long weekend

The August long weekend is finally within reach.

And in case you’re not spending the weekend at a cottage in Muskoka and planning on hanging in the city, you can expect a very hot weekend.

According to The Weather Network, Toronto is going to see mainly sunny skies with highs hovering around 30°C.

On Friday, there is a risk of a thunderstorm, but that clears up by Saturday when it will feel more like 37°C.

Sunday and Monday will both be equally as hot, and hotter than Saturday when Toronto will be basking in 39°C.

So whatever you are doing, enjoy the sunshine, hydrate, and don’t forget the sunscreen.
