Lockdown lifted at Toronto elementary school after reports of a man with a gun in the area

UPDATE: The TDSB has said that the lockdown at Lester B Pearson Elementary School has been lifted.

The Toronto District School Board says that Lester B Pearson Elementary School is in lockdown.

According to Toronto Police, there were reports of a man with a gun near Bayview and Cummer Avenue.

Officers are on scene and investigating the situation.

The TDSB says all staff and students are safe in the school.

Lester B Pearson ES is currently in Lockdown due to a police investigation in the area. All staff and students are safe. We will provide an update when available.
