LCBO reducing hours after Ontario declares state of emergency

Mar 17 2020, 8:40 pm

The LCBO is reducing its hours following Premier Doug Ford’s declaration that Ontario is in a state of emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Effective Thursday, March 19, all LCBO stores will operate from 11 am to 6 pm each day.

Previously, actions have been taken to elevate store cleaning and sanitation, and to increase awareness amongst employees about preventing transmission of the illness.

The LCBO says that delivery options remain available, but pick up directions provided by Canada Post will need to be followed for home deliveries.

At this time, stores are not accepting product returns, so anyone wishing to make those transactions should hold onto receipts. All eligible returns will be honoured at a future date, the company says.

LCBO Convenience Outlets authorized to sell beverage alcohol are privately-owned, which means that business hours may vary.

Call your nearest location to check the status of its operation.
