Two LCBO locations in the Toronto area have reported employees testing positive for COVID-19 as cases remain high across the province.

According to an LCBO news release, on October 29, an employee at an LCBO location in Vaughan at 9970 Dufferin Street tested positive for the virus. The last day they worked was on October 17.

“Public Health has not provided any directions or recommendations with respect to this location,” said the LCBO.

On November 2, the LCBO put out another statement after an employee at a Maple location, 2943 Major Mackenzie Drive, also tested positive for coronavirus. The last day they worked was on October 30.

“All LCBO locations remain closed on Mondays. This location will open for regular business hours tomorrow,” said the LCBO.

“The LCBO has several measures to keep employees and customers safe, including regular cleaning and sanitization, mandatory face coverings, and in-store measures that promote physical distancing.”
