Maison du Ladurée opening in Toronto today draws huge line-ups (VIDEO)

Ladurée celebrated the grand opening of its first ever Toronto boutique and tea salon today at Yorkdale Shopping Centre and Toronto turned out!

Long lines snaked through the mall at the height of the holiday shopping season today as fans of the famous Parisian pattiserie queued up for their first taste. The Toronto store is the third Canadian location for Maison du Ladurée which already operates two locations on the west coast in Vancouver.

To celebrate the grand opening, the luxury sweet maker has introduced a maple macaron exclusive to Canada which joins their signature 14 flavours. The macarons are only made in Switzerland and are shipped in daily so no one knows the recipe.
