Mixed weather conditions expected for the Labour Day long weekend in Toronto

The last long weekend of summer is upon us, and it’s expected to bring a mixed bag of sun and showers along with it to Toronto.

According to Environment Canada, Friday will start sunny and become a mix of sun and clouds throughout the morning. Expect a little wind to start, blowing west at 30 km/h that will be gusting up to 50 km/h, with a high of 23ºC.

The night will bring a few clouds and a low 11ºC.

On Saturday, enjoy a sunny morning if you can, as there will be winds gusting up to 50 km/h, and it’s expected to become a mix of clouds, leading into an afternoon with a 30% chance of showers. The high will be 24ºC, leading into a clear and cool night with a low of 12ºC.

Sunday is calling for clear skies, sun, and a high of 22ºC, though the night will be cloudy with a 40% chance of showers and a low of 18ºC.

The clouds will persist on the holiday Monday, as there will continue to be a 40% chance of showers, though it’ll be hot, with an expected high of 28ºC.

A low of 18ºC is called for that night, which will lead into a week predicted to be filled with higher chances of rain.
