The future of food is officially here — or at least, the future of ordering food.

KFC Canada has teamed up with Google to pilot the tech giant’s food-ordering feature across Google Search, Google Maps, and Google Assistant.

Users will now see a new “Order Online” button option when they are searching via Google Search or Google Maps.

This button will take folks straight to their local KFC menu, where they can place an order for delivery or pickup, and they will be able to pay there — all without leaving the Google platform.

Chicken lovers can also order using Google Assistant on their Android and iOS phones by saying, “Hey Google, order food from KFC” to start the order process.

For repeat customers, you can simply say, “Hey Google, order food again from KFC,” and the Assistant will pull up recent orders.

KFC also currently offers traditional home delivery and order-ahead pick-up services too.

Looks like there are more than enough ways to get your finger lickin’ chicken from this famous chain straight to your couch — enjoy!
