Take jello shots for a good cause in Toronto tonight

Nov 4 2019, 4:35 pm

Toronto’s annual Jiggle Ball returns to Queen West tonight.

Featuring some of the city’s best bartenders, the light-hearted competition raises funds in support of Nellie’s Shelter, which operates programs and services for women and children who have or are experiencing violence, poverty, and homelessness.

You can partake and enjoy inventive jello shots, knowing that the fun time contributes to a good cause — over $20,000 has been raised for the shelter over the past three years.

The $10 entry fee includes two shots, while further shot-tickets can be purchased for $3.

Beginning at 7 pm, the evening will include the aforementioned jello shots, plus live music, and a Grey Goose-sponsored martini bar.

Drinks will be priced between $6 and $9, and Apt 200, the event’s venue is being donated for the evening by the establishment.

All the proceeds from the door, bar, and raffle will be donated to Nellie’s Shelter.
