A Toronto steakhouse was just named one of the best in the world
Toronto steakhouse Jacobs & Co. has been honoured with even more international recognition, landing itself on a list of the best steakhouses in the world.
The Michelin-recognized establishment has been awarded a position on the World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants list, taking the #76 ranking among the most acclaimed steakhouses across the globe.
The annual ranking is now in its seventh year of highlighting the most beloved steak joints around the world. London-based Upper Cut Media House’s latest list expands on last year’s ranking with dozens of new additions.
“This year’s ranking is more dynamic than ever, with quality reaching new heights and 33 exciting new entries from all continents joining the list,” says World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants.
For Jacobs & Co., the honour will be a bit bittersweet, as the establishment actually slid a few places in this year’s ranking, falling from the #73 position it held in 2024.
The restaurant recently departed from its long-lived location in the King West area, and is now living on within a brand-new space in the Financial District.
Jacobs & Co. is preparing to open its new location on the 4th floor of the CIBC Square south office tower at 81 Bay St.
The new location will debut May 14, 2025.
