The GTA housing market is going through an unpredictable and unprecedented time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

But, according to a recent report by the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB), the GTA housing market is making a comeback after facing significant impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, with home sales shattering the July record.

Last month, sales were up 49.5% compared to June 2020 and when looking at July 2019, there was a 29.5% increase for the same time this year, a new record for the month.
