Some popular Hershey chocolate has been recalled across Canada
If you have a hankering for a sweet treat, you may want to check your cupboard, as Hershey has issued a recall of one of its popular items in Canada.
On Aug. 1, Hershey Canada shared that it was issuing a voluntary recall of certain lots of Hershey’s Kisses Creamy Milk Chocolate products in 200g and 104g size bags, as some may contain undeclared almond. The affected lot codes begin with 51G and 51H.
The impacted products were distributed across Canada between May 6 and July 28, 2026, and all retailers that received the lots concerned have been instructed to remove them from shelves.

Hershey said it had initiated the recall to protect public health, adding that the company is conducting the recall with the knowledge and cooperation of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
In its own recall notice, the CFIA urged any Canadians with an allergy or sensitivity to almonds to not consume the recalled products.

Hershey Canada said that the recall only applies to products distributed in Canada, reiterating that no other Hershey products or markets are affected by the recall.
Customers who have purchased Hershey’s Kisses Milk Chocolate products with one of the impacted lot codes are able to contact Hershey Customer Relations for a full refund.
