New gift-box delivery service supports small Toronto businesses

Apr 14 2020, 4:12 pm

This time when Torontonians are unable to visit their favourite small business is when those exact spots are the most in need of customers.

As local establishments are severely impacted by the current reality, Ribitt — an app that rewards you for shopping in your neighbourhood — has launched a delivery service to support them.

The Happy Box is a relief project that aims to help thousands of currently-impacted small, local spots survive through and beyond this ongoing crisis.

There are two boxes to choose from: one curated with daily essentials and comforting goods with items like vitamins and socks. The other features indoor entertainment, such as board games and snacks.
