FEATURED ON THE LISTED GUIDE
Hanson sang their way into fans’ hearts with their long blonde hair, brotherly love and MMMBop, ba duba dop, ba du bop… and the rest is history.
Or so you thought. Now the Hanson trio Isaac, Taylor and Zac are officially back – and they’re coming to Toronto!
Founded in 1992, Hanson are celebrating their 25th Anniversary Middle Of Everywhere tour from June to October this year.
The boy band has released 16 studio albums and sold more than 16 million albums in their rise to fame, and they aren’t stopping there.
Expected to drop later this year, Hanson will be releasing Middle of Everywhere – The Greatest Hits album, featuring fan favourites, including “MMMBop”, “Where’s the Love”, “This Time Around”, “If Only” and brand new single “I Was Born.”
“Making music together for 25 years is a milestone that we had to acknowledge, and what better way to do it than with an anniversary tour,” said keyboardist Taylor in a release.
Guitarist Isaac added, “This year is not only about the two decades of music, it’s about celebrating the incredible community of fans who have been with us, singing along year after year.”
No longer just a blast from the past, in 2003, the brothers started their own independent record label 3CG Records – short for 3 Car Garage – releasing three studio albums.
And even more magnificently, in 2014, they started Hanson Brothers Beer Company. Yup, you heard right – now you can even enjoy the band’s signature brew MMMHops!
