And according to the latest report from the Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB), housing prices in the GTA are expected to accelerate further this year due to tight supply.

This means, the average price of a home in Toronto, which is now listed at $885,132, will just be going up even higher.

If you’re in the market to purchase a new place to call home, it just so happens that there are a number of listings for under $400,000 currently for sale in and around the city of Toronto, according to the brokerage Zoocasa.

And while these listings might not be available in the heart of downtown, many of them come with multiple bedrooms or spacious balconies, catering to buyers’ needs.
