This month's Great Canadian ButterTart Festival calls for a fall road trip
The Great Canadian ButterTart Festival is an excellent excuse to escape the city this month.
Just an hour and a half drive from Toronto, the festival taking place in Paris, Ontario, invites bakers from across the country to compete for the title of Canada’s Best Butter Tart.
From classic varieties studded with raisins or pecans to innovation creations featuring chocolate chips, pumpkin spice, or apple, attendees will have the opportunity to taste and cast votes on their favourites.
Music, food trucks, crafters are also on the bill for the indoor and outdoor event taking place on the third Saturday of September, rain or shine.
