Hundreds of Torontonians joined together at Gord Downie tribute concert (PHOTOS)

Nathan Phillips Square was filled with the sweet sounds of the late Gord Downie last evening.

Hundreds of fans of the Tragically Hip frontman joined together to hear stories of Gord and to reflect on what he meant to each of them.

But more importantly, they joined together to sing for Gord one final time and were led by Choir! Choir! Choir! for an incredible tribute concert.

What follows was a truly special experience, that will not only give you goosebumps but will also most likely bring you to tears.

Choir! Choir! Choir! led the crowd through all of Gord’s biggest hits, from Bobcaygeon  to Ahead by a Century and while the songs didn’t have the same magic as when Gord sang them, the result was incredibly moving.
