There's going to be a massive Glow Sword Battle in Toronto next month

A massive Glow Sword Battle is set to take place at Nathan Phillips Square next month.

Organized by Newmindspace, the October 7 event gets participants to pick a side, and use the glow swords for an ultimate nocturnal showdown. The all ages battle also allows you to reserve a glow sword, or bring your own.

For $10, one glow sword will be reserved for you, and each sword changes up to 6 colours and is about 3 feet long. Organizers will have a truck full of glow swords, which will be distributed before 8 pm on the evening of the event.

Once all swords have been distributed it will be time for battle.

In case you missed last year’s epic battle, it was definitely a showdown for the books.
