It’s best to head to the gas station before you head home on Tuesday as prices are expected to increase by mid-week.
According to gas industry expert Dan McTeague, prices in the province will increase 4 cents/litre on Wednesday, September 18.
This means average prices will go from 116.9 to 120.9 at most GTA gas stations.

McTeague says he expects prices to increase at gas stations in most of the province, including in the GTA, Ottawa, London, Hamilton, Barrie, Niagara, Kitchener, Windsor, Peterborough, and Sudbury.
The expected increase follows the Saudi Arabian oil attacks over the weekend, which saw coordinated strikes on key Saudi Arabian oil facilities that knocked out over 5% global oil production, according to a report from Gas Buddy.
