There's a fried chicken festival in the GTA this weekend

Street Eats Market is back and they’re bringing with them some holiday cheer and a fan-favourite food fest. The Fried Chicken Fest is back this winter season.

Keeping in check with Toronto’s current lockdown orders, Street Eats Market in Richmond Hill has pivoted its approach and have introduced its first series of Click & Collect “Curbside Food Festivals.”

The Fried Chicken Fest will take place this coming weekend, December 4 to 6, from 12 pm to 8 pm at Hillcrest Mall, and orders can be placed as early as Wednesday.

How this will work is fairly simple; customers will order and pay online, pick a time slot and drive to your designated parking spot. The food will be delivered right to your car.

“Our model has been approved by Public Health and is able to operate safely even within the lockdown,” said Street Eats in an Instagram post.

“We will always continue to think out of the box to bring you creative and delicious events through these difficult times to bring you some joy but do so in a safe and responsible manner.”

Street Eats Market has a few other events up its sleeve, with three more fests lined up for the month of December.

Make sure you have enough room to fill up on the good stuff!
