Fresh Wednesdays and Tasty Thursdays are a Toronto foodie's paradise
Fresh Wednesdays (July 6 to August 24, 11am to 2pm) and Tasty Thursdays (July 7 to August 25, 11am to 2pm) are coming back to Nathan Phillips Square this summer, turning it into a foodie’s lunchtime paradise.
On Fresh Wednesdays you’ll find a farmer’s market with fresh, local, Ontario-grown fruit and veg, meats, baked goods like bread, tarts and pies, artisan cheeses, honey, preserves, flowers and everything else there is to love about Ontario in summertime. Food vendors will also be on site serving up tasty lunch options while you shop.
On Tasty Thursdays restaurants and food trucks from across the city will congregate in the square offering every type of food you could possibly want to choose from in one place: Canadian, Asian, Greek, Mexican, Latin American. Even Colombian, Turkish and Ukrainian flavours will make an appearance. To top it off there will be live music, too.
