Here's where you can get free turkey in Toronto on November 22
Did somebody say free turkey?
Maybe you’re American, missing Thanksgiving because something’s keeping you in the cold, wintery north. Or maybe you’re Canadian and you’re just… missing Thanksgiving.
Either way, you can get a free frozen bird on Queen West tomorrow afternoon.
DAZN, a sports-streaming service, will be popping up a “Turkey Locker,” from 12 – 5 pm. Pro football hall-of-famer Thurman Thomas will be there, handing out free turkeys to visitors between 12 pm and 2 pm.
You’ll also have the option to simply pop by and say hi, and donate your turkey to Second Harvest instead of taking it home.
Either way, a tummy will be filled with turkey tomorrow. Gobble gobble!
