Toronto drivers, rejoice.
The Toronto Police Service announced that they’re not going to be enforcing some on-street parking bylaws on Thanksgiving Monday.
On October 12, Park Enforcement Officers will not impose the following:
- Pay-and-Display/Metered Areas
- Rush-Hour Routes
- Posted signs indicating Monday-to-Friday regulations
Toronto Police began reinforcing regular parking rules in July after initially suspending them in March in response to COVID-19.
So while you may not be able to visit loved ones for Thanksgiving dinner this weekend, you’ve got one less thing to worry about while you’re waving at them from a safe distance.
