There's a free Orchard Party at a Toronto park this weekend

To celebrate autumn harvest, there’s a free Orchard Party at Downsview Park this weekend.

The fun, family-friendly event will include activities such as Tours of the Orchard, forest nature walks, campfires, apple ciders, and U-pick at Fresh City Farms.

This is a free event, but spots are limited, so be sure to register if you plan to check it out.

While at Downsview Park for the Orchard Party stop by Fresh City Farms to visit an operating city farm and pick your own veggies, herbs and flowers! Fresh City’s farmers will greet you and give you the rundown on what and how to pick. Meet behind the greenhouses at 70 Canuck Ave. Open from 10 am to 4 pm. This is about a 10-15 minute walk from Orchard Party.

When: Sunday, September 23 from 1 to 4 pm
