There's a 19+ food and booze festival coming to Toronto this June

There’s a new kind of food festival coming to town this spring.

And it’s one that’s focusing on high-quality food and drink, encouraging social connections and limiting environmental impact.

Forks and Barrels will be hitting Ontario Place from June 7 to 9, and with it comes mouthwatering eats and refreshing libations.

While the vendors haven’t been announced yet, the event’s website promises bites that are fit for all dietary preferences.

And in addition to consumables, attendees will be able to peruse an artisan marketplace, engage in games with friends and enjoy performances ranging from music to comedy.

The whole event aims to minimize its ecological footprint, which is why you won’t see any single-use plastics in the vicinity.
