Premier Doug Ford is set to provide an update on Monday afternoon on Ontario’s COVID-19 vaccination rollout.

On Friday, more than 325 pharmacies began offering the AstraZeneca vaccine to eligible Ontarians aged 60 to 64, by appointment only.

And on the weekend, the provincial government began working with primary care professionals to offer vaccinations in primary care settings and community locations, such as physician offices in Hamilton, Toronto, Guelph, Peterborough, Simcoe-Muskoka, and Peel region.

On Monday morning the province launched its online registration for vaccine appointments for those 80 years and older. The system will allow for vaccination appointments to be booked at mass immunization clinics across the province.

Ford will provide his update at 1 pm from Queens Park.
