Premier Doug Ford is set to unveil the fall plan to combat the second COVID-19 wave, on Tuesday afternoon.

Ford will be joined by Health Minister Christine Elliot at Queen’s Park.

On Monday, when the premier was asked why the plan has taken a long time to be released, Ford noted that the pandemic is a “fluid situation” that is changing constantly, saying the climate now is very different than when it began in March.

Elliot also said that there have been some different considerations for the second wave like incorporating new factors brought along by flu season, essential medical procedures, and more involvement with the federal government.

The press briefing will take place at 1 pm.
