Ontario Premier Doug Ford is set to make an announcement on Wednesday with Finance Minister Rod Phillips.
They will both be joined by Kinga Surma, the associate minister of transportation and Jim McDonnell the parliamentary assistant to the minister of municipal affairs and housing.
The announcement comes as the rest of Ontario enters Stage 3, with Windsor-Essex joining the rest of the province for economic reopening.
At 12:01 am, gyms, restaurants, and bars opened again in the region, as indoor gathering limits can now hold up to 50 people, with outdoor spaces allowing for 100.
The press briefing will be held at 1 pm in Queens Park.
