Ford to give announcement with Education Minister this afternoon

Premier Doug Ford will provide his daily update with Education Minister, Stephen Lecce, on Monday afternoon.

The premier and minister will also be joined by Minister of Health Christine Elliott.

Last week, the premier finished outlining the COVID-19 fall preparedness plan.

The province is no longer accepting walk-ins at assessment centres, and has placed new restrictions on restaurants, bars, and gyms in Toronto, Ottawa, and Peel.

Also, coronavirus screening for schools and childcare centres have changed allowing students to return after 24 hours if they have a runny nose.

The press briefing will be held at 1 pm from Queen’s Park.
