This massive food truck fest is happening near Toronto on May 4
As summer approaches, any excuse to escape the city for a little while is on the radar.
And this massive and award-winning restaurant and food truck festival should be at the top of your getaway list. Conveniently, it’s only a GO train ride away.
SEW Hungry returns to Ottawa Street in Hamilton this May and for the second year in a row, the event is taking place on a Saturday.
Which means that the 45-minute drive from Toronto is totally doable.

The day-trip-worthy street festival has yet to release this year’s vendors, but last year’s featured delicious curb-side eats from more than 25 food trucks and at least 15 local restaurants.
There was also outdoor beer gardens, live music, and more.
