The Thanksgiving long weekend is now behind us and Halloween is just a couple weeks out.

Of course, in Toronto, you won’t go hungry in between turkey and Halloween candy… this week is packed full of food events including poutine eating championships, BBQ feasts, soup-centric charity events, and more.

Empty Bowls

Now in its 25th year, this charitable initiative to aid the homeless sees potters, potter’s guilds, and students donate more than 400 bowls to be filled throughout the event by soups from some of Ontario’s most eminent chefs. At the end of the event, take home your bowl!
