It looks like March is starting off with warmer weather, with bouts of rain and snow flurries mixed in for the first week of the month.

Monday will see periods of light rain and a high of 8°C in Toronto, according to The Weather Network.

While it will reach almost double digits, it will feel like 4°C.

From Tuesday to Thursday, the temperature will cool slightly with possible flurries, but luckily the rain will be clearing by Tuesday.

Wednesday and Thursday are “shaping up to be the best days of the week,” with highs approaching the double digits in some areas, and reaching above freezing in Toronto.

The Weather Network is forecasting that Toronto will reach up to 6°C on Wednesday, and while there will be some sunshine, some flurries are also expected.

“The first two weeks of March may disprove the old ‘in like a lion’ adage, with above-zero daytime highs expected for most places, as Arctic air stays very firmly in the Arctic,” states The Weather Network.

Looking ahead, Thursday is forecasted to be the sunniest day of the week, with a high of 3°C.

On Friday, there will mixed precipitation, but sunshine and warmer temperatures are expected to return just in time for the weekend.

Looking ahead into the second week of March, temperatures will rise to 9°C on Monday.

Spring is really just around the corner… we hope.
