A fifth coronavirus-related death in Ontario has been reported

An Ontario woman in her 70s has died because of complications due to COVID-19, the province revealed Sunday.

The York woman contracted the virus during travel, although health authorities did not disclose where.

It appears this is Ontario’s fifth coronavirus-related death, according to the updated information online.

Earlier today it was announced that a man in his 70s is dead because of complications due to coronavirus, Toronto’s first death relating to the virus.

The man travelled to the UK recently, where it’s suspected he caught the virus, Toronto Public Health said in a news release.

The Province of Ontario has confirmed 478new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total up to 425 cases, as of Sunday afternoon.
