Jan 2 2020, 3:19 pm

Farm Boy is recalling its house-brand Coconut Curry Lentil Soup and Leek & Potato Soup from the marketplace due to potentially dangerous mispackaging.

The former may contain milk and the latter may contain wheat not declared on the label.

Those with an allergy to milk or wheat, or who have celiac disease or other gluten-related disorders, should not consume the recalled products as they may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction.

The products, described below, have been sold at Farm Boy locations across Ontario:

There have been no reported reactions associated with the consumption of these products at this time. Still, you should check to see if you have the recalled products in your home. If you do, they should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to further recalls. If other high-risk products are recalled, the public will be notified through updated Food Recall Warnings.
