Toronto book themed bar Famous Last Words Bar to open

Sep 24 2016, 7:38 am

If grabbing a drink and sitting down with a nice book sounds like your idea of a perfect evening then Toronto’s latest bar is the place for you. Famous Last Words promises to serve up great cocktails, with a literary twist, in a relaxed neighbourhood setting. An Oliver Twist, anyone?

Famous Last Words was originally slated to open this past summer, but expect them to open their doors sometime early this fall at 392 Pacific Avenue.

The space features a book wall, literary-based cocktails, and, of course, a scrabble tile table. It’s got all the makings for a perfect spot for Toronto singles, and it’s the antithesis of your usual bar with loud music and dim lighting.

Chandeliers: check. Scrabble tiles: check. Just need to find enough books to fill up those lovely new shelves!
