Visit a magical holiday village at Evergreen Brickworks this season

Nov 1 2019, 3:43 pm

You’ll be able to skate, eat, and play in a festive winter village at Evergreen Brick Works again this year, in celebration of the holiday season.

The Evergreen Winter Village starts Saturday, November 30, and is open 10 am to 5 pm every weekend in December. Plus, the space will be open on weekdays during the time between Christmas and New Year’s Eve — with hours yet to be announced.

Admission is free, making it easy to enjoy a glide around the skating rink, shop local vendors at the holiday market, and feast on festive foods during your visit.

And while you’re there, pick up a sustainably grown Christmas tree, too.

Whether you’re opting to skate ’til you ache, walk ’til you flop, or shop ’til you drop, you’ll be sure to work up quite the appetite.

In previous years, the village’s food vendors have changed week to week, featuring appearances from Chocosol Traders, Get Your Own Taters, The Arepa Republic, Fully Loaded TO, The Food Dudes, and many more.

This year’s selection has yet to be announced on the event’s website, but based on the track record, you can be sure you’ll be able to satisfy all of your sweet, savoury, melty, and cheesy cravings.

So clear a weekend (or two, or three) to visit this festive event. You won’t want to miss all the local, seasonal goodies that’ll be in attendance.
