Happy Monday, aka solar eclipse day in North America!

Lots going on in the city in terms of viewing the incredible sight, so be sure to head out there nice and early. Enjoy safely!

CNE – Solar Eclipse Viewing

Join the Dunlap Institute at the Canadian National Exhibition to view the partial solar eclipse. Get a free pair of eclipse glasses to let you view the eclipse safely and see the Sun through our solar telescopes. Meet astronomers from the Dunlap Institute and the University of Toronto to learn about the eclipse and to get all your burning astronomy questions answered. See live streams of the eclipse from regions of totality and compete for prizes.

Where: CNE, 21o Princes’ Blvd
When: August 21 at 10 am to 5 pm

Solar Eclipse Viewing

Henderson Brewing brewed a custom beer – Dark Wit – to go with the eclipse.  And we have special viewing glasses on hand to insure that no eye-balls get injured!  Eclipse action starts at 1:00.  This is a FREE event!

Sorauren Farmers’ Market 

Every week, since 2008, the Sorauren Farmers’ Market has brought together residents of the Sorauren, Roncesvalles, High Park, and Parkdale neighbourhoods, offering the best that our local Ontario farmers and producers have to offer.

Coldplay

The seven-time Grammy Award winning British band announced their 2017 North American dates for their “A Head Full of Dreams Tour,” which sees the group stopping in Canada for the time in five years. They have two dates in Toronto as part of the massive tour and it all starts tonight.
