Train near Toronto offering escape room and murder mystery dinners
If you’ve been seeking a fresh take on a wild ride, look no further.
Because in the coming months, a heritage train in York-Durham will be welcoming you in for evenings of murder mystery, escape games, and three-course meals.

Starting in June, you’ll have three opportunities to attend Escape Train dinners.
At 6:30 pm on June 6, 13, or 20, you can climb aboard the train and enjoy a three-course chicken, salmon or veg dinner. Then, take part in a series of skill-testing challenges “designed to allow only the brightest and most committed to succeed and join the ranks of The Society.”
Tickets are $99 and include your meal, but alcoholic bevvies are extra.
Then, in July, the entertainment transforms from an escape game to a murder mystery.
From 6:30 pm on July 11 or 18, you can enjoy a three-course meal while you try to solve the murder at hand. Tickets for these events are $99 each and again, alcohol is extra.
So put on your eatin’ pants… and your thinkin’ caps.
