A man has died after falling from an elevator shaft in the CBC Toronto building on Saturday, according to the CBC.
Police responded to a call at John Street and Front Street on July 13, where a man was reportedly swinging from cables and fell through the elevator hatch.
At the time, it was reported that his injuries were serious.

Later, police returned to Twitter to share that the man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police say that there will be a Ministry of Labour investigation conducted after this incident.
