Eataly restaurant offering rotating menu specials for pick-up in Toronto

May 19 2020, 7:47 pm

It’s only been a couple of weeks since Eataly launched DIY pasta and pizza kits for home delivery. Now, the iconic Italian marketplace is offering even more deliciousness to Toronto.

Trattoria Milano is now on order-ahead site Tock.

Eataly’s Milanese-inspired restaurant, which features classic Northern Italian dishes, is preparing different ready-to-eat, four-course meals every week.

Highlighting different offerings each time around, meals from Trattoria Milano are available for preorder online, and can be retrieved during the evening from Friday to Sunday.

Special offerings include antipasto, primo, secondo, and dolce, all packed with seasonal ingredients, and prepared with traditional Northern-Italian flair.

The whole meal rings in at $65.

However, as no Italian meal is complete without wine, customers will have the chance to add on a bottle (or multiple bottles) of recommended Italian wines or cocktail pairings, chosen by beverage experts at Eataly, for an extra cost.

This coming weekend — May 22, 23 and 24, the Trattoria Milano menu looks like this:

Gli Antipasti – Vitello Tonnato
Featuring poached Montauk Farms veal loin, tuna sauce, radish, with capers

I Nostri Primi – Gnochetti Crema Di Zafferano E Piselli
That’s handmade “little gnocchi,” saffron cream, and peas

I Secondi – Spezzatino Con Polenta
Including Italian beef stew with K2 Milling polenta

Dolce – Bonet
Italian chocolate budino with coffee and salted caramel, served with crumbled amaretti cookies

If you’re — like us — already drooling, don’t miss out. You can place your order today.
