If you’ve been wallowing in sadness ever since Game of Thrones ended, Casa Loma‘s new escape room might just do the trick in cheering you up.

Launching on November 1, the new immersive game room, entitled The Dragon’s Song, will invite you into a whole new world, full of strange science and mystical wonders.

While many escape rooms focus on fear and problem solving, Casa Loma’s experiences blend fact with fiction and theatre.

Decidedly the castle’s most elaborate set in its escape room series, the concept includes a cast of stage actors. The game was written with game design, emerging technology, and theatre expertise all coming together to push the boundaries of storytelling.

“With the setting of the historic castle and the creative fuel behind the series, The Dragon’s Song is a one of a kind edition of the world-wide gaming trend that you do not want to miss.” said Nick Di Donato, President and CEO Liberty Entertainment Group, which collaborated with Secret City Adventures to launch the new experience.

As for what to expect when you’re actually in the space? Well, you’re going to enter a world where dragons are almost extinct, but the kingdom’s alchemist discovered where the last dragon egg lies. They set out days ago to retrieve it, and haven’t been heard from since.

The Queen, who is concerned for the alchemist, has asked you to embark upon a dangerous quest: to save dragons from extinction. To do so, you must sneak into a mysterious tower where the last dragon egg is said to be.

The castle invites you to “Be the hero. Discover the magic. Save the dragons.”

The Dragon’s Song is set to run 7 days a week at Casa Loma (1 Austin Terrace). Games will run at 5:00 PM, 7:00 PM, 9:00 PM and 11:00 PM on weekdays, with additional times of 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. The game can be played Easy or Difficult, with Easy games running at 1:00 and 3:00 PM.

Prices will range from $40 to $46 per person, and the experience is family-friendly for kids over the age of 8.
