Get ready to take a walk down memory lane, because beloved children’s writer Dr. Seuss‘ incredible creations will be appearing in a large interactive exhibit in the GTA this month.

The world premiere of the 15,000-sq-ft exhibition will take place at Square One on October 26. The Instagrammable playground will include 360-degree immersive spaces that present a journey through the wondrous world of Dr. Seuss.

The awe-inspiring pop-up will lead visitors to interact with his beloved stories and characters, including “The Cat in the Hat,” “Horton Hears A Who!,” and “The Lorax” as well as other timeless favourites.

“It’s a pleasure to pull back the curtain a little bit more and reveal exactly what guests can expect when they step into the world of Theodor Seuss Geisel in a way never before imagined,” says Mark Manuel, CEO of Kilburn Live of Kilburn Media, which created the exhibit, in a release.

“I think our guests will truly enjoy the visually stunning way we’ve created fun-filled activities for the whole family that, at their core, celebrate the power of reading and the value of imagination.”

Oh The Places You’ll Go Balloon Maze

Each colourful room in the experience will bring a different Seuss book to life, all while exploring the social message at the heart of each featured story.

At the heart of the exhibit is an interconnected maze inspired by “Oh The Places You’ll Go!” that’s comprised of thousands of suspended balloons.

“Our goal from the beginning was always to create a space where visitors could step from one book into another, and this experience will make that dream a reality,” says Susan Brandt, president of Dr. Seuss Enterprises, LP.

“This type of attraction wouldn’t be Seussian without these iconic books inspiring every aspect of the Experience, and we still have a few fun surprises left that guests will only be able to see in person.”

As the tour moves city-to-city, guests can expect new additions based on different books to join the rotation.
