Forget flowers. This Valentine’s Day Toronto heartthrobs can gift each other food bouquets!
The promotion from on-demand food delivery service, foodora offers the chance to order edible arrangments from restaurant partners Bacon Nation and Fancy Frank’s.
“It’s an age-old saying that the way to someone’s heart is through their stomachs and here at foodora, we wholeheartedly agree,” said David Albert, foodora Canada’s managing director in a press release. “This year, we wanted to give foodies a new way to show their love and we thought what better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than by sending someone special a delicious and unique treat!”

Sweet and savoury options include Fancy Frank’s “I Adough You” bouquet ($15) made with vanilla glazed mini doughnuts and topped with cinnamon heart candies, meanwhile Bacon Nation celebrates the day of love by offering the “BAE-con” bouquet ($25) featuring half a dozen, long-stemmed bacon roses.
The food bouquets will be available for pre-order (for pick-up and delivery on February 14), beginning February 12 on the foodora app and website.
