Premier Doug Ford is set to cancel the retroactive cuts that would affect public health, child care, and other municipal services, according to The Toronto Star.

“Bowing to pressure from Mayor John Tory, Premier Doug Ford is set to cancel retroactive cuts that have hit public health, child care, and other municipal services,” reads a tweet from Robert Benzie, of The Toronto Star.

The move comes as after his popularity plunged drastically in a recent public-opinion poll.
