As Tuesday’s winter storm rages on, the Toronto Police have reminded the public not to call 9-1-1 for snow-related issues.
Police say so far today they have received “many calls” on snow-related issues and while they “appreciate them” there is a more efficient number they should be calling.

Those with snow-related issues are being reminded to call (416)-808-2222 and to not call 9-1-1 unless there is a real emergency.
Police need their 9-1-1 dispatchers free to deal with more serious emergencies, not for when your neighbour forgets to shovel his sidewalk.
